Successful candidates should posses the requisite number of years relevant experience and:

Assosiates:

·       Graduate degree in Accounting

·       1-3 years of relevant work experience with Big 4

·       Commitment to obtain a professional qualification

·       Obtains sufficient and appropriate audit evidence, addressing the relevant audit objectives and demonstrates how it relates to the rest of the audit, in order to demonstrate knowledge of basic auditing skills

·       Identifies audit differences and issues and escalates as appropriate

·       Demonstrates knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards as well as accounting disclosure requirements by applying knowledge to allocated work

·       Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure, especially during peak periods

·       Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

·       Good communication and interpersonal skills

·       Effective team skills

Senior Associates / Supervisors

·       CA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent

·       4-5 years of relevant work experience with Big 4, preferably in the financial services and / or oil & gas sectors

·       Applies knowledge of current issues in audit, accounting, financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements and industry specific concerns to client engagements, identifies where they may impact a client and reflects these in the audit documentation

·       Establishes the key audit objectives with appropriate Risk of Material Misstatement by planning the engagement, identifying the significant fraud risks

·       Good communication and interpersonal skills

·       Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure, especially during peak periods

·       Strong team-player and capable of supporting and mentoring junior staff

·       Ability to multi-task

·       Demonstrates ability to lead example
